This Privacy Policy sets forth the policy of Beef Concepts Inc. ("Beef Concepts") with respect to the privacy of information that Beef Concepts collects from its visitors and registered users (collectively, "Users") on the web-based software application accessible on the Internet and located at http://www.bovitrak.net (the "Bovitrak System").

As a matter of principle, Beef Concepts is committed to safeguarding its Users confidential information obtained through the Bovitrak System. Beef Concepts recognizes that Users have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and we recognize the importance of protecting that privacy. Collection and Use of Information

Beef Concepts collects, uses, and retains the following information (the "Information") from or in respect of the Users through the Bovitrak System to identify and communicate with Users. Beef Concepts may also use this Information to comply with certain laws and regulations that may apply to Beef Concepts or to a Beef Concepts affiliate and to help Beef Concepts design or improve its products and services.

1. Registration Information. In order to become a registered user ("Member") on the Bovitrak System, a user must first register and provide certain contact information and other information about the user and, where applicable, the user's company (collectively, "Registration Information"). Beef Concepts uses the Registration Information to communicate with Users about: (i) new and modified services and features offered by Beef Concepts; (ii) special offers made available by Beef Concepts or its partners; and (iii) specific activities in which Users are participating. Beef Concepts reserves the right to use Registration Information to communicate Beef Concepts offers, promotions or incentives to Users. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Beef Concepts will not intentionally disclose to third parties the e-mail addresses, contact information or other similar specific information about Users without the consent of the applicable Users.
2. User Information. Users communicate and exchange information with Beef Concepts and may communicate and exchange information with other Users in connection with their business relationship with each other and with Beef Concepts (collectively, "User Information"). User Information includes, without limitation, information submitted to the Bovitrak System or others via online communications facilitated by the Bovitrak System. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Beef Concepts will not intentionally disclose such information to third parties or to other Users without the consent of the applicable Users.
3. Production Information. Beef Concepts' mandate is to provide a software-based service, accessible through the Internet, allowing cattle breeders, producers, feeders, processors and other relevant parties to record and/or track data concerning individual animals through the beef cattle production chain. Data that is recorded about an individual animal may include, but is not limited to, genetics, weights, vaccinations, treatments, feeding performance and carcass data, and other such data that is recorded about an individual animal in the Bovitrak System (collectively "Production Information"). Access to an individual animal's Production Information is restricted to Members of the Bovitrak System who are either the current owner or previous owner of that animal. Other Members of the Bovitrak System may be allowed to access individual animal Production Information, or a subset thereof, upon the consent of the current owner of the animal.
4. Tracking Information. When Users accesses the Bovitrak System, the Bovitrak System captures, records and retains general data about such Users' usage of the Bovitrak System including, without limitation, the Users' domain name, IP address, the web page(s) from which Users entered the Bovitrak System, the web page(s) that Users visited on the Bovitrak System, and the amount of time Users spent on each web page of the Bovitrak System (collectively, "Tracking Information"). Beef Concepts uses such information to determine the demographics of Users, to diagnose problems and administer the Bovitrak System, and to develop and distribute to third parties statistics and general information about the Bovitrak System. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Beef Concepts will not intentionally disclose such information in a manner that reasonably permits such information to be identified with individual Users or specific Users transaction.
   
5. Cookies. A "Cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to be stored on a web browser so it can later be read back from that web browser. The information collected from Cookies is currently used to improve the functionality of the Bovitrak System. The information on the Bovitrak System is organized and presented based on Beef Concepts' analysis of the aggregate usage of the site. Cookies are also useful in allowing more streamlined log-in for Users. Cookies may play an integral part in assuring that information provided to Users will reflect their preferences and be most relevant to their needs.
6. Other Information. Users may choose to send Beef Concepts a question via e-mail, register for a special service or otherwise communicate with Beef Concepts. Beef Concepts uses such information to communicate with Users and to enhance the Bovitrak System to better meet the needs of Users. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Beef Concepts will not intentionally disclose such information in a manner that reasonably permits such information to be identified with individual Users or specific Users transaction.

Permissible Uses or Disclosures

1. Aggregated Data. Users hereby grant Beef Concepts the right to use, develop, analyze, exploit and extract information, in aggregated form only and in a form which does not specifically identify Users or specific transactions of Users on the Bovitrak System ("Aggregated Data") from Users' Registration Information, User Information, Tracking Information, Production Information and other data collected, retained, stored or accumulated through a Users' use of the Bovitrak System, for internal and commercial purposes, including without limitation, for purposes of: (i) performing its duties and obligations under an agreement with third party licensors or other Users; (ii) internal record keeping and internal reporting by Beef Concepts; (iii) measuring the performance of third party licensors and service providers; (iv) reporting performance and other statistical information concerning the Bovitrak System; and (v) developing and making available to third parties aggregated information regarding trends, patterns, intelligence and research. Beef Concepts will not intentionally report Aggregated Data in a manner that reasonably permits such information to be identified with individual Users or specific Users transaction. Users acknowledge that Aggregated Data is owned solely by, and the property of Beef Concepts.
2. Disclosure Under Laws. Beef Concepts may disclose Users Registration Information, User Information, Tracking Information or Production Information or other information if Beef Concepts is required to make such a disclosure under applicable Laws. In addition, Users acknowledge that Beef Concepts reserves the right to disclose Users Registration Information, User Information, Tracking Information, Production Information and other data collected, retained, stored or accumulated through Users use of the Bovitrak System to report a violation or suspected violation of applicable Laws to governmental authorities to which notification is appropriate or may be required.

Maintenance of Accurate Information

Keeping your information accurate and current is very important. If you ever find that our records are incomplete, inaccurate or not current, please contact Beef Concepts immediately. We will correct the information as quickly as possible.

Opt Out

Participation in the Bovitrak System is voluntary. To opt-out of receiving communications from Beef Concepts, Users should send an e-mail to Beef Concepts at register@bovitrak.com. Notwithstanding any such opt-out request, Beef Concepts retains the right to collect, maintain and process Information provided by and collected about Users on the Bovitrak System and disclose such Information to comply with its reasonable business and legal obligations. Requests to review, change or update information previously provided by Users to the Bovitrak System may be made by sending an e-mail to Beef Concepts.

The Bovitrak System contains links to other web sites. Beef Concepts is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.

Security

Subject to the provisions of the Terms of Access and this Privacy Policy, Beef Concepts has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the Information under control of the Bovitrak System.
